Art is eternal
OCCASUS wins two awards.
After receiving an award at the Bangalore Shorts Filmfestival we are happy to announce that the shortfilm Occasus by Petja Pulkrabek was now awarded the prize for “Best Cinematography“ at the Norway Tamil Film Festival. We would like to thank our great film team, our filmfunders the Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and Nordmedia. And a most special mention to our fabulous DOP Sin Huh.
Manusarts honoured with two nominations
Manusarts formed local culural ties in Copenhagen in 2017 by opening House of International Theatre with Jana Pulkrabek as International Artistic director. Presenting five German-Danish coproductions within the first season, she actively contributed to a more dynamic cultural exchange between the regions. After earning a theatre prize nomination in the category ARETS SÆRPRIS for the Manusarts producion Slapstick Sherlock, Jana Pulkrabek was now honoured by The Copenhagen Post with the credit as “TOP 3 TRAILBLAZER“ for English-Language theatre in Copenahgen.
Move the North – Connecting the North!
Manusarts is launching Move the North - a cross-border-festival and joint strategy project where partners from Germany, Denmark and Sweden cooperate in order to create a vibrant and dynamic cultural bridge across the Baltic Sea and around the regions of Hamburg- Copenhagen-Malmö. The German-Danish poetry-concert “Poetic Sounds“ is currently promoting Move the North with the first festival launching in 2019!
