City Tales - Photography

Statt-Ansichten - Prag and Hamburg from a different angle
Four different artistic perspectives on the cities of Hamburg and Prague presenting works by Rebecca Hoppé, Sehnaz Seker, Jiri Votruba and Jitka Stenclova. The exhibition is organized in honour of the 25th twinning-anniversary of Hamburg and Prague and presented in Hamburg City Hall, as well as Prague City Hall.
Humorous illustrations by well known check painter Jirí Slíva are presented in collaboration with the Czech Embassy at Copenhagen’s legendary cultural venue Huset-KBH.
Myths Kafka - Life and work
A journey into the life and works of Prague based author Frank Kafka. The images illustrated by famous Czech painter Jiri Votruba are accompanied with text passages diving into Kafka’s live and fiction.
Current Prague Architecture
The festival “PRAGUE IN HAMBURG” presents the current architectural movement in the Czech capital contextural to the 20th Jubilee commemoration of the partnership between the two cultural capitals.

As official closing event of the 25years anniversary of city twinning of Hamburg and Prague 2015, the Sudentendeutsche Museum Munich provides a collection of exhibits from the years 1572-1850. The graphics show city and landscape in old views and are exhibited in Levantehaus Hamburg.
Cityscapes en Passant
During the German French Culture Festival “Arabesques”, photographs by Lilian Grindat and Marc Sagnol will be presented at the Levante House to accompany the Arcades Theatre project „Passagentheater“
